Thank you, friends, for all your kind comments and for helping me celebrate the box of books! When I was writing 40+ years ago, before SCBWI and before the internet, this kind of news was pretty much celebrated alone, or with family and a few close friends. But as much as they were pleased for me, it takes other writers to fully appreciate the thrill of new books. We're so lucky to live in a world with lots and lots of writing friends.

I decided to check out Amazon this morning and SURPRISE! I got my first look at this book cover for my Easter story coming out this spring with Albert Whitman & Co. The artist responsible for all this cuteness is Margie Moore.
It's so sweet!
