If you do buy a peach tree, look for one called 'Reliance' which is hearty in this area. But they are somewhat short-lived. Our two are about 13 years old and I'm afraid one of them is not going to last much longer. But the fruit is wonderful!

And the home grown are so much better than what we can get in the supermarkets. Trouble is, we have to fight the wasps to pick them once they're ripe. I hate that part.
